Administrative Office

Dr. John E. Bormann,  Superintendent of Schools
Dr. Bormann is an accomplished and highly passionate educator with 19 years of experience in the field as a science teacher, Supervisor of Curriculum, and Superintendent/Principal. Dr. Bormann holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Rutgers University in Environmental Science, a Master of Science from Ramapo College in Educational Technology, a Master of Arts degree from Georgian Court University in Educational Leadership, and a Doctorate from St. Peters University in Educational Leadership. Dr. Bormann was awarded the Milken Family Foundation National Educator Award, is a two time recipient of the Governor’s Teacher Recognition Award, and received, as superintendent, the Monmouth County Education Association Friend of Education Award.  He comes to us from the highly successful school district of Spring Lake, NJ where he served as the Chief School Administrator. 

Ms. Debra Allen, School Business Administrator
Mrs. Allen comes to us from our neighboring district of Little Silver and prior to that, Spring Lake, where she served as the School Business Administrator/Board Secretary.  

Ms. Shari Feeney, Principal of Deane-Porter School
Prior to becoming the Principal of the Deane-Porter School, Shari served as the
the Administrative Intern for the Rumson School District, working in both Deane-Porter and Forrestdale
Schools. She has worked as a teacher in the district from 1993 to 2012, and became the Dean of Students in July 2011.  Ms. Feeney holds a Master of Art degree in Teaching along with a NJ Principal Certificate.  

Mrs. Jennifer Gibbons, Principal of Forrestdale School
Mrs. Gibbons previously served as Principal in the Riverdale (K-8) district and as Assistant Principal/Supervisor of Curriculum in Byram Township. Her teaching career began in the Markham Place School, Little Silver.

Mrs. Vera Ridoux, Supervisor of Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment
Mrs. Ridoux comes to us from the highly successful school district of Sea Girt where she served as the district’s Supervisor of Student Services. 

Mr. Michael Snyder, Supervisor of Special Education
We are very happy to welcome Michael Snyder our new Supervisor of Special Education.  Michael comes to us highly recommended from the Toms River Regional School District with nine years of experience in Special Education, the last three years as a Supervisor of Special Services.  He has achieved a reputation as a hard-worker, a person with great patience and endurance.  He is particularly adept at dealing with situations that most people find difficult or over whelming.  He comes with experience from Kindergarten through Grade 12 from a school district that serves a variety of special education populations.  He received his Master of Arts and Educational Specialist  degrees from Seton Hall University.  He also holds New Jersey Certification in Educational Services and Administration.
